After seeing this recipe for years on here, I finally had a roast and a jar of pepperoncinis at the same time and thought “why not”. It was so good. I highly recommend it.
Recipe:
– 4.2 lb Top Round Roast
– 3/4 stick of unsalted butter
– 1 packet of Aus Jus mix
– 1 packet of Hidden Valley Ranch dressing mix
– 1 large sweet onion, rough chopped
– 1 jar of Pepperoncinis. Used all the brine and and peppers (destemmed)

    if you have a publix nearby try the store brand of the aus jus. I won’t buy Mccormicks anymore unless this one is not available

    Its a hit in my house too.

    One of my daughters calls it “Misses Piggy Pot Roast.”
