If you feel uncomfortable eating this, it might be prudent to buy groats or proper steel cut oats (some so powder is still cut oats and that isn’t what it should be rather bits and pieces) and wash them and salt brine as Dr. Gregor showed that to be the most effective anti-pesticide solution bang for the buck.
Real shame that our government doesn’t protect us, unlike the European union. This stems from the EU requiring chemicals having to be shown to be safe by the companies, trying to introduce them while in the US consumers have to sue showing chemicals are dangerous to the humans.
That said a Whole Foods plant-based diet can be the least exposure to these type of chemicals as long as you buy them unprocessed and clean them correctly with salt water.
I know I even put apples in hot water to remove the wax just so I can know I got the pesticides off.
Edit: Some people might be confused why processed food might not get this out but chickens carcasses are washed in the same water all day long with with a few drops of bleach to sanitize it. Don’t expect factories to use much more fresh water to clean your fruits and vegetables. You’re much better off doing it yourself just to be sure.

Oats are one of those foods that I have opted for organic the last couple years. Costco sells the One Degree Organic Sprouted Oats and they are very affordable.

Is there any evidence that this pesticide is harmful to humans? All of the studies linked in that article are for animals.
