Both my partner and I love Indian food so when I saw this ready to heat meal at 25% off (original price: $20) I snagged it.
The amount of chicken in the picture you see above? That’s all you get for 2 servings.
The sauce was pretty gross. I was expecting it to be the highlight of the meal but both of us just weren’t happy with it.
The rice was fine but the cashews were too much. I wish they put less or at least put them in a separate bag to sprinkle on top as an optional item.
I gave it a negative review on the app and was offered a refund so at least I’m not out $15. Either way I found this to be a huge miss while the typical Indian offerings to be a much better option. We absolutely love the coconut curry and other meal kit options they have.
Has anyone tried this item before? What were your thoughts?

HF Indian food is always better when made fresh. No pun intended. I always snag the Indian recipes.
I thought this was ok, wouldn’t buy again but fine for a dinner with samosas from Trader Joe’s. We didn’t care for the Indian curry recipe at all, definitely won’t get that one again
We got this and also thought it was terrible. The quality of the chicken in it was just gross and the curry sauce was meh at best. The rice was OK, but nothing to write home about.
It was so bad that we each had about two bites before chucking it in the trash. You can get far better from the freezer section at the grocery store.
1/10, would not recommend.
