Feeling good but I feel like I seriously need more protein. Today was under 40g 🥲 any vegetarian/vegan protein ideas? Today was: breakfast- oat meal, snack- pear, lunch- grilled cheese and veg, dinner- lentil balls, carrots, potatoes, rice and gravy, snack- tea and biscuits

Definitely more protein! You can add protein powder to your oats, Greek yogurt, cottage cheese, eggs, more beans. Edamame, tempeh..

Looks good, you might consider going full vegan 🙂

Tbh as a vegetarian I get my protein almost entirely through supplementing, not too much from actual foods or meals necessarily. To hit your aggressive calorie goals id recommend looking into Fairlife Nutrition Plan milk and Oikos Triple zero yogurt – Fairlife is 150 cals for 30g protein, Oikos is 90 cal for 15g protein.

You could add some chia seeds or ground flax seeds into your oatmeal, or make chia puddings. They are really filling and have a lot of protein and omega 3s (ALA).

You could eat your beans and pulses in soup form. This makes them very filling and low-calorie!

Do you like tofu? You can get a higher protein type and there are so many ways to use it. I like to crumble it and air fry it and it turns into little crunchy bits that are good in salads or wraps.

Cottage cheese is high protein if you like it- maybe over whole wheat toast. Soy milk can be helpful as a protein boost sometimes. You could try to get more chickpeas, beans, or lentils in while lowering the carbs you have on the side.

Amazing! Consider adding in tofu or tempeh. Best vegan proteins ever! And if you’re okay with dairy then that will do wonders for adding in protein. Yoghurt, cottage cheese etc.

Are you vegan or vegetarian? If it’s the latter, you could try eggs.
