Been doing wfpb (limiting SOS) for ~6 weeks in hopes of treating some chronic health issues. Took a test back on 11/22/23 with LDL=109 & Total=210.

Latest lipid panel (2/23/24) I took showed LDL plummeting to 39, and now Total=108.

Although this way of eating hasn’t cleared up all my health issues, I will say it’s improved my digestion, skin, sleep, energy levels, anxiety and w/ a host of other interesting effects (for example, I never get eye gunk anymore!)

p.s. Sorry for the clickbait title (as the numbers aren’t exactly cut in half :P), but hopefully this post can serve as an n+1 to the population of those who’ve improved their cholesterol w/ a wfpb approach! I recognize every body is different, and I don’t want to spread false hope. However, wfpb seems to be working out for me so I’m definitely looking forward to continue eating this way while adding more to it 🙂

    Wow those are excellent results! And don’t give up on your chronic problems improving with this diet. 6 weeks is a great foundation but it’s still a start!
