I can never get enough banchan at KBBQ so I set up my own spread 😋 how did I do?

And yes that is an ice tray for sauces

    I don’t think you know what Banchan is. Banchan are side dishes to accompany your meal.

    Tough crowd. I think what matters is the attempt, and you tried. I have one suggestion, add one dish that something you never had before, so you can try all the different types of Banchan.

    My favorite is spicy cucumber.
    Easy, recipe….
    1 Persian or 2-3 small cucumbers like Kirby.
    Teaspoon of the following to make it easy.
    Garlic
    Fish sauce
    Vinegar or Mirin
    Korean pepper flakes
    Sesame oil
    Sesame seeds

    Toss and serve!

    Make sure you post your next Korean meal and sides!!!

    For banchan: kimchi, raw garlic, blanched and sauced veggies are the quickest and easiest! 🙂
