So oikos is my all time favorite yogurt. The protein and calories are amazing but I’ve been getting sick of the vanilla flavor.

Unfortunately it seems they only sell large containers of the vanilla and not strawberry. I know they have the little cups but I usually eat more than that for lunch and it’s just a single use plastic waste to me.

I’m seeing if anyone has Greek yogurt recommendations with similar calories and protein contents that also comes in large containers. I just want a berry flavor so I can have a break from vanilla :,)

Could you make your own by mixing in some thawed frozen (mushed?) strawberries and/or some sugar free strawberry syrup or strawberry jello mix into the big tub? Or maybe mix in some strawberry protein powder?

friendly farms (100 calories w/ 15g protein), chobani (60 calories w/ 12g protein), two good (80 calories w/ 12g protien) – these are my FAVORITE yogurt brands other than oikos, if you’re looking for a more diverse flavor palate i’d recommend chobani as they have cheesecake, lemon, milk & cookies, etc.

I just buy a big tub of plain fage 0% & make my own. Sometimes I’ll throw in some frozen blackberries or blueberries, maybe walnuts, a tiny bit of honey, swirl in some low cal jam, etc.

I would buy a big tub of plain Fage total. Use part savory instead of sour cream or mayo and as others said, add vanilla extract berries or sugar free preserves or sugar free pudding and no cal sweetener for sweet option.

  6. I like Zoi’s fat free plain and just mix in honey and frozen fruit myself. But I also think Oikos tastes like hot garbage.

I love this yogurt. I add pb2 (regular and chocolate). Or sprinkle in frozen blueberries.

I’d recommend trying a few of the basic ones without any added flavors, then eating it with fruit. Won’t make you bored as quickly since you can just swap out the fruits. And it’s probably cheaper than the vanilla flavored yoghurts.

Also I’m so jealous of y’all Americans with the amount of options you have. There’s literally only 3 greek yoghurt types here- one made in Greece, one made in Norway and the same one with vanilla added.

Chobani has a high protein low calorie drinkable yogurt that I love! It’s like 17g of protein and like 130ish calories? I find them at target all the time and they’re a great snack and fixes the hunger cues really nicely.

the organic plain greek yogurt from costco is a steal!! whole thing is 48 oz and each 2/3 cup is 100kcals with 18g of protein, i eat it with some of the ancient grain probiotic granola and some honey, 310ishkcals for like 23g of protein and it’s sooo good!

edit: didn’t know u were trying to find berry yogurts but i’m pretty sure if you mash some berries in with the honey it’ll taste just as good!

Echoing that I just buy plain Greek yogurt and mix in the flavorings myself. I don’t go for artificial sweeteners, so I just add two teaspoons of sugar per 2/3 cup of yogurt and then flavoring. I usually just flavor with lime juice or instant coffee, but I have also used the hand blender to pulverize canned fruit and mixed that in.

Ratio yogurt is really good and has 25g protein.

I personally add half a serving of protein powder (peanut butter flavor) to the vanilla oikos and its freaking delicious.
