Ingredients:

2 medium-sized zucchini, cut into sticks
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup breadcrumbs (seasoned)
1/2 cup grated cheese of your choice
1 teaspoon garlic powder (for plain bread crumbs add the next few ingredients)
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
Salt and pepper to taste
2 eggs, beaten
Vegetable oil for frying
Marinara sauce for dipping (optional)

Hey family so um I have here two zucchinis and then off to the side I have my dipping station and which you’ll see that later when we get to that portion of the video but um yeah so your zucchini you can decide to uh if you

Want to have a smoother texture you can peel these before you cut and fry them or if you decide to have them with the skin on um make sure you wash them very thorough please and so now I’m cutting the ends of these off and then I’m

Cutting them in half um and so again you can make that decision on how big small that you want to uh slice your zucchini s and so now I’m just showing you how I again just um you know prefer mine so that’s what you’re seeing here Okay so right here I’m just showing you how it will look um if you decide to make the smaller and without the skin so I’m going to continue on and do the uh second one off camera I don’t want to bore you with um watching this

Process all right so now I have my uh dipping station set up uh normally I would just have the egg um batter in the middle in between the flour and the breadcrumbs however I just wanted to make sure that um I was able to get everything in the frame so y’all can see

It and so now I have in the first Bowl some allpurpose flour and then what I just showed you the breadcrumbs that I’m using they’re the Italian seasoned breadcrumbs and then um this is a cheese that I’m using and so now as far as the bread crumb you can use already seasoned

Bread crumb but however if you don’t have that let’s just say you have plain plain breadcrumbs just add your own seasoning you can use like salt pepper garlic powder and then add like some dry basil and then also mine is a seasoned one I still add like a teaspoon each of

Black pepper and salt far as your cheese you can use whatever type of cheese that you want I just happen to have this cheese on Deck so I’m just going to use this up and I added about a um in total maybe like a half cup of cheese but

Again that’s your preference or how much cheese that you want to add then you’re just going to go ahead in and um do like a thorough blend in which I’m showing you that and so now uh for the uh dipping process oh also off to the side

Which I’m going to show you shortly as well I have a dish right here that I add some wax paper in because once we finish doing all our dunking and dipping and coating they’re going to go in this pan and this pan is going to actually go in the refrigerator

In order for this um to set for about 15 or 20 minutes and so now to begin with you’re going to roll your zucchini around in the flow then from here we’re going to add it into the egg batter and then once we do it in the egg batter we’re going to

The last battery we going to add it to of course is the breadcrumb and now um if I could just be transparent with y’all after a few dunks and dips it is going to start getting kind of clumpy and so going forward I may try different technique whereby instead of having the

Breadcrumbs in this in a dish I think I’m going to put it in like a shallow bowl with the breadcrumbs in there after I do um my dipping just add it to the Bowl then once I get a certain amount in there put a lid on there and kind of

Roll it around and then sit it in the refrigerator like that and let it set because as I said after a while it gets a little it gets a little messy and clumpy okay so I did want to um you know share that with you so if you do try this

Recipe try it the way I just mentioned like I said just you know the last step just do it add it in a shallow bowl and mix it around like if you try like that let me know and if uh once I try if I feel that it works better I’ll report

Back to you guys and let you know Okay so once you’re do done uh coating the zucchini this is how they’re going to look and uh as mentioned earlier I’m going to now sit these in the refrigerator for about 15 or 20 minutes just allow the um batter to adhere to the um zucchini so when I go on to fry

It that’s going to reduce some of the the batter that you may lose during the frying process all right family so in this frying pan I have uh some vegetable oil and now I allow my grease to heat up to a temperature of 350° and so now I’m going in and gently

Adding my zucchini sticks and as you can see how hot the uh grease is as I’m putting them in there and so now these can cook anywhere from 2 to 5 minutes as you can see the first couple of um sticks that I put in there they’re

Pretty much done so I’m just going to add a few more and try not to Crow your pan and then also you want to have handy um some kind of dish or strainer with a napkin in it so it can drain the excess grease and then also I use a spoon with

Like the the slided spoons with several holes in it so I’m able to grab up a batch at a time but of course if you’re deep frying with a basket you don’t have to worry about that but um yeah so this is how they are turning out nice and uh crispy All right G Squad so per usual I like to try to uh give you some ideas of what to pair your dishes with so today I decided to um I wanted to have a Beyond Burger and so I have a balance of fried vegetable fried food this is like my

Little cheat meal but um you know keep it like I said with balance so I decided to pair it with this Beyond Burger um you can also have this just as a regular appetizer a little snack and um you know also add your favorite sauce whether it

Be ketchup or marinara sauce and what I love about this snack is that you have the crispy texture on the outside from the uh the Double um batter of the flour and the breadcrumbs and then you still have the firmness of the actual zucchini as you can see here when I
