This restaurant is like 40 mins away and have the best food ever 🥲💐. I need to go back but there’s a Korean restaurant closer to me who’s also phenomenal but doesn’t sell Gimbap. My heart is torn!

Just jump in and start making them.
I held off on making sushi and kimbap for years bc I thought it required some rarefied knowledge. But a few months ago I gave myself permission to make ugly kimbap. I sometimes skip the sushi mat altogether and roll them by hand. And it never disappoints.
And the ingredients are easy to source on Amazon or any online asian grocery.
Start simple…like tuna mayo kimbap(use Kewpie mayo) with a line of kimchi.
