Hello everyone tonight we are continuing our journey through all the restaurants in Disney that is a lot of restaurants and tonight we are at Topolino’s Terrace flavors of the Riviera I’ve never been here before I’m super excited it’s one of the highest rated restaurants in all
Of Disney it looks kind of fancy um so I did dress up a little bit I don’t I’m not sure if there’s a dress Cod or not we’ll let you know later um so come along with us and see if we like It Topolino’s Terrace the flavors of the Riviera is located here behind me at the Riviera Resort in Disney which is a Disney Vacation Club resort now the name Topolino’s Terrace actually comes from the Italian name for Mickey Mouse which is tapino and of course if you’re familiar with the Riviera you know there
Is an Italian Riviera and a French Riviera and so this restaurant is actually takes its cuisine inspiration from both French and Italian Cuisines French cuisine is probably my least favorite type of Cuisine I know it’s super popular it’s super fancy and a lot of people love it it just happens to be
Not my favorite Italian ranks in my top three so I absolutely love Italian food so we’re going to see what they have to offer upstairs and and I do say upstairs because it’s actually located way up there on the rooftop so we’re going to be heading up there in just a moment um
And it’s supposed to have spectacular views up there so I’m excited to check that out but again I’m probably going to go for the Italian side of the menu not so much the French uh but we’re going to check it out and see what they have to
Offer well it looks like our table is ready so we’re going to head upstairs and I did want to call out the fact that they do in fact have a dress code at this restaurant most of the restaurants don’t say they have a dress code this
One does have a dress code but I will tell you the the dress code is super LAX super comfortable it just means please try not to wear anything swimwear related or anything that might be considered disrespectful to the restaurant jeans t-shirts those sorts of things are perfectly fine we just sat
Down at our table and we got one really close to the uh to the window and we have a view of OT and the water and all of Orlando really um so I’m excited we didn’t get sat over in the middle um we just walked out I guess um but it looks
Really cute in here it looks fancy um but not too too too fancy my first impressions were it looked like it was Italian um but it is the French and Italian Riviera so I guess it looks French and Italian but to me I was thinking Italian um so I’m super excited
To see what the menu has I think I already looked online I think I might know what I’m getting but I’m going to see if the menu here is any different sometimes it is yeah just looking around it looks really pretty in here very modern very like um Chic um I dig it
It’s got these like I don’t know these like gold spindly things coming down off the ground I mean off the ceiling uh almost like feathers but they’re like I don’t know gold sparkly lights it’s really pretty um and I just love the decor in here it’s really nice it feels
To me French or Italian Riviera I guess I’ve never been there so I can’t really say for sure this definitely feels bougie the table looks really nice um it’s got like the little light on it and it’s got uh the napkins now I do know they actually offer um a character dining breakfast
Um here at this restaurant that’s where you can order your breakfast but there’s also character interactions Mickey and friends come here there’s no character interactions for dinner only for breakfast time um and so I really love the view out on the Terrace here um I’m really digging it right behind me you
Can see the fireworks are going on we’re up here at the Terrace for the restaurant and you can actually watch the fireworks from up here for Epcot and you can hear the music’s going on too so it’s a great spot to watch the Epcot fireworks up here at the restaurant
And as you can see we actually watch the fireworks from the show uh out there on the Terrace it was really nice you can actually hear the music and you can see the fireworks really well actually um and Epcot has that new show so we got to
See it again so I was excited about that um I don’t think you have to get a reservation for this restaurant in order to go out on the Terrace and watch the show cuz I saw a lot of people that were here um and then they left um after the
Show was over I don’t think they were eating here but there is a place out on the Terrace where you can get wine and drinks and stuff so that’s also nice I’ll tell you what the first thing I notic about the menu when I saw it is
Like this is like an actual like book like this is like a hard book thing it’s not a piece of paper uh so it’s like a super fancy menu I’m going to say there’s not a ton of food options on the menu there’s a lot of wines and things
They have a lot of alcohol cocktails they have a section called Disney family of wines uh for your choices which I think is cool they have a lot of wines out in the front when I when we sort of came in they had a almost like a display of all
The different wines and Champagnes and things yeah well it’s actually one of the nicer menus I seen at a Disney restaurant so I’m looking at the menu and I see the appetizers starters I always call them appetizers um and I see a couple that look really good the the
The ricotta looks really good and comes with like I think like dips you can dip it in and like balsamic and um tomato jam I don’t know about the tomato jam but the balsamic is something I definitely want and that is $17 it’s kind of a lot for an appetizer um and
They have a Bara um it it comes with baby kale beets and Candy walnuts so I think that’s just cheese like a cheese ball I don’t know what kind with all that stuff accom it it’s $19 they have a Ratatouille Fritter which is kind of funny cuz we’re right
By Ratatouille um the ride it’s eggplant carrot summer squash and piperade Piper I have no idea how to say that um it’s $12 they have noi noi I don’t know how to say that either noi grilled octopus no thank you um escaro no thank you if
You remember um Steve made me try the escargo at one of the festivals and that is no that’s like a 100 minus 100 out of zero of 10 and then a salad a rem salad so um they have quite a few options they range from $12 to1 19 all right let’s
Talk Entre um they’ve got a few so there’s only about eight different Entre to choose from again there’s not a ton of stuff on the menu um and it is all French and Italian inspired Cuisine so you’re going to see things from both uh so there’s a Branzino roasted
Cauliflower steak which is sort of the vegetarian option uh which sounds interesting they had a a roasted cauliflower stick also at big fire um over a Universal CityWalk as a vegetarian option we didn’t try it there maybe we’ll try it today you also have the brazed lamb shank and F
Mano there’s a rigatoni which obviously is Italian Dish sea scallops classic soul which will be a fish and then a booya base which um the booya base is a noo for me uh I know it’s a fancy I think it’s a French cuisine uh fish
Broth all sorts of things in it uh no it’s not for me I’m going to take a hard pass and then you can enhance your dish it looks like with seared scallops grilled shrimp or brussel sprouts um and then they do have a dessert menu uh
Which we will see if we can get a little bit later but overall the prices on the menu they’re pretty high this is a kind of a bougie restaurant which again top one of the top rated restaurants at Disney yeah I can see um why I mean the
Prices are super high so I’m going to have to assume that the food’s also going to be really good so the bread just got here I’m excited I love bread and it came with a cold pressed olive oil I don’t know that I’ve ever had
Olive oil that was cold um and it looks like there’s butter that comes with it looks like there’s salt on the butter yum anything that has salt Is My Jam so I’m going to go ahead and try it It’s good it does it’s not cold it’s uh that might just be the way they do it um make it oh my gosh actually don’t get that much on it what’s happening I’m not fancy I’m about to die it’s really strong not bad yeah bad strong like it tastes good but it’s like
I almost choked on it after a second don’t put that much oil on it like I did I’m going to try the butter now [Applause] it’s good but it just tastes like butter with some salt on it which is good there’s nothing wrong with that the olive oil though is very very
Strong need some vinegar or something to offset it okay so you scared me with the olive oil now I don’t know what to expect but look how cute this dish is it’s Riviera Resort that’s little logo the r the Double R there all right so I got the
Bread the bread feels kind of like light it’s like very light but it feels it looks like thick and heavy but it’s actually really light I thought it was going to be dense like a bagette or something feel like it’s not I don’t know what I don’t know what kind of
Bread this is oh wait I didn’t take her advice I wasn’t supposed to get very much olive oil and I’m like lathering it up oh well wa let see what happens so it’s cold pressed olive oil yeah I don’t think that means it’s cold I think it’s
Just cold pressed you know how they do like isn’t it like cold pressed coffee thing or something we’re not fancy and I don’t drink coffee so I don’t know uh here we go let’s see see if I can get it without the oil dripping on Me honestly I didn’t notice anything it just tasted like it was just like oil I don’t know why you choked on it I mean whatever it just it I need some vinegar so I’m just going to set the oil aside cuz I don’t care about that I’m really excited for the
Appetizer that we got so we ended up getting one of the appetizers um and ironically enough the appetizer comes with bread so we actually got more of the bread uh we ended up getting the rata or the rot I don’t know how you say it that’s how they say it I don’t like
It I think it’s just rata um but it comes with tomato jam aged balsamic Cracked Pepper basil and epie I don’t know $17 um like I said it comes with more of that bread I think EP is the name of the bread isn’t that what she called it the
EP bread I think so something like that um so you get more of the bread which we don’t need cuz we have plenty of bread but the bread did come warm um I don’t know I’m going to lather it up when I try the ricot she said the ricot is
Probably one of their most popular appetizers and it is housemade they make it inh house housemade made in house um so let’s give it a rip going for some of that huh I’m scared actually going to get some of the oil and vinegar I don’t know if I got any I’m
Not even sure if I got any of the wh and vinegar but just kind of wiped it around in that uh okay I don’t know I got the Tomato stuff I was hoping it was going to be more like spaghetti Pizza I don’t know lasagna okay the flavors are really good really good
Um I was surprised um I thought like the sauce would be warm rotta the Ricotta and the sauce are both like really cold it it and it’s still really good um but it’s like really cold so I was like huh I was confused when I first went in my mouth
But I I I like it so I know it’s was good all right I’m going to check this out so I got a little bit of the bread I’m going to do a little bit of the rata here she said it was all it all works really well together I’m surprised you
Actually tried the honestly I’m really surprised you tried the tomato jam because yeah she’s not a fan of tomatoes at all but she said it looked kind of like marinara sauce so she figured she’d give it a rip and she liked it so I don’t know it looks really good yum I’m
Excited to try this oh wow yeah it’s really cold I could actually touch it on my hand I can tell it’s really really cold okay here we go there’s a lot going on here oh my goodness Yum yeah it’s really good Hotta cheese is really is just Heavenly that rotta flavor just tastes so good it’s really mild right there’s not a lot of saltiness or anything to it which by itself actually is really good it’s very creamy oh my goodness I love
It it’s got a love like an amazing texture to it normally when you get like a ra ricotta cheese in the store it’s just really really smooth but this has like kind of like a little bit of graininess to it very mild flavor very I don’t know milk cottage cheese orotta cheese flavor
But this tomato jam added to it it is such an interesting flavor Prof aile that tomato jam it’s definitely not just like a regular it doesn’t taste like a tomato sauce a pasta sauce doesn’t taste like a pizza sauce it’s definitely like a jam I don’t know how else to describe it it’s
Like it’s it’s almost kind of like a like dried tomatoes um you know like sun-dried tomato flavor a little bit of salt and really like a vinegary flavor to it sun dried tomatoes with vinegar that’s it a little bit of salt it’s so good and blended with that rata
Cheese oh my gosh it’s great and then that bread I love it um the little I didn’t even need the balsamic or the olive oil on there I think it would have even kicked it up another notch but there’s really not that much on the
Plate so I have to say I’m impressed $17 for this ricot it’s amazing it’s a great add-on to the bread that you already get I definitely recommend it our Entre just hit the table I got the the roasted cauliflower steak I’ve always wanted to try one cuz cauliflower is one of my
Favorite things in the world I love cauliflower it’s weird um I’ll eat whole bowls of cauliflower um it was $37 it has farro and faba beans I don’t actually know what that is but um I think it’s these uh little beans here I don’t know they look good to me and um
Arugula which is just kind of like a salad radish and a green pepper corn dressing which she said I asked her i to describe it she it’s just kind of like citrusy and bright and vinegrette so it sounds good to me um I’m going to go ahead and try the cauliflower steak part
And it’s this purple like cauliflower and it’s warm it’s not cold the texture is really good it’s perfect um there’s some spice to it the cauliflower not a ton but there’s definitely spice and there you can definitely taste that it was on the grill which is really good actually and
Um I’m confused cuz I don’t see two different kinds of beans are they supposed to be two different kind I guess maybe that’s a bean is that a bean you people tell me it probably is so I’m going to go ahead and try This they’re really good the texture is perfect it’s like Al Dente I don’t like mushy um stuff so th those are really good and the herb the green peppercorn um dressing is really good that it’s mixed with um and this was hot as well it’s not
Cold and I’ll go ahead and try the salad which has some cauliflower in it as well it’s an orula salad has some cauliflower uh um radishes I love radishes I just eat radishes whole sometimes I’m weird super good light bright salad dressing that’s exactly what she said like a light citrusy vinegret is
Very very good so overall I love this so I got the rigatoni and it was $40 for the rigatoni which is a really heavy price honestly for a bowl of pasta um but my expectations are really high I’m going to assume that this pasta is made
Fresh inhouse I noticed when we F first walked in they had a big pasta display they had pasta sort of drying on some racks it was really pretty I think it was just decorative but I think it’s also indicative that like they make the pasta fresh in house so I’m excited for
This the rigatoni it says it has a brazed chicken Sugo broccolini Panetta wild mushroom and a black truffle so I’m anxious to try this it looks really really good I’m hoping that the pasta is a little out Dente fresh pasta something sometimes can be a little gummy for me I
Like I kind of like fresh pasta that’s been dried but then I guess it’s not fresh pasta at that point I don’t know um cuz I like it a little like Al Dente um but we’ll see fresh pasta can be amazing so hopefully it is and that
Sauce looks really good in there all right here we go I think I got a little bit of everything and it looks amazing uh smells great we’re not worthy we’re not worthy we’re not worthy we’re we St there’s a there oh wow oh wow oh my goodness this is so good
What I don’t know how they did that um um first of all the pasta is delicious it’s well it’s perfectly cooked it’s nice and Al Dente it’s got a great texture to it um but the chicken in there it’s amazing because the actual flavor I thought it was going to be like
A a wild mushroom flavor like a heavy mushroom sauce but it’s just a really nice light sauce that actually has a flavor of almost like roasted chicken um and it does say it has chicken in it obviously and chicken is kind of the star but I was really afraid here’s a
Nice piece of chicken right here you can kind of see it right there um I was a little bit afraid that the chicken was going to disappear and um that kind of like maybe the mushroom was going to become the star of the dish which I love mushroom
And I’ve had mushroom risotto mushroom pasta in the past and I love that but it has chicken in it I kind of want it to have a chicken flavor and wow it really does it’s like that chicken is infused in every single flavor um a little bit
Of hint of mushroom flavor The Panetta in there I don’t really taste much of the Panetta but uh maybe I just didn’t get a piece of it within my within that first bite uh but that broccolini is nice and crisp in there it’s not mushy
At all U so the the broccolini is out Dente the pasta is out Dente the mushroom flavor comes through the chicken flavor dominates the dish becomes the star oh that sauce is so good I got I got to give it another bite I mean look at this that looks so good
Yes yes oh yeah can you feel that buddy huh H H oh my goodness it is so good those flavors just work perfectly I absolutely love this this is phenomenal phenomenal dish one of the best one of the best pasta dishes I’ve ever had to be
Honest um especially when it’s not a red a red sauce pasta I love red sauce pasta dishes um and so when it’s like a white sauce or like a brown or cream sauce of some kind I’m always like you know it’s not going to be my favorite oh my gosh this is so
Good you’ve got to try this like you have got to try this she’s going to love it I guarantee it okay I’m going to try Steve’s pasta I like ratoni it looks really good to me um I thought about getting this but then I saw the cauliflower steak and I wanted to get
That so I’m not going to try the chicken but I am going to try the pasta that’s very Good I love the texture of the pasta it kind of tastes like chicken the the flavors of this is really really good and the pasta is just like really really really good we love it all right so there you have it talino teris flavors of the Riviera what’ you

Cute Scenic restaurant but it was actually good so yeah we’re down here in the lobby it’s like dead um this hotel shuts it down it’s only like 10:00 Sno one around I’m used to there being like hustle and bustle at some of the other hotels but this hotel shuts it down and
Um so we’re being a little quiet cuz it’s a little just really quiet in here but I love the restaurant I was shocked I thought I was going to be bougie I’m not bougie I thought it was going to be very French inspired which again not my favorite Cuisine I did stay
On the Italian side of the menu I’m being honest um but the flavors and everything that I got were phenomenal I can definitely see why this a top rated restaurant because the view the location uh the food the service was great Ambiance everything was awesome the price is pretty high but um I
