Really had fun making this sauce! The whole meal tasted great and I realize the chicken breast wasn’t huge (the other plate for my husband was larger) but it filled me up so I don’t have any complaints. One of the better meals imho!

    That sauce is so good. This was a really great recipe for not being premium. Loved the new flavors and technique with blending a sauce.

    That being said, I strongly recommend doing a saute/pan fry of the chicken breast. There’s enough down time in the recipe while things roast where it won’t add any extra time, but the baked chicken breast is a bit bland. The sauce definitely covers it up, but a nice golden brown sear on the chicken breast would be absolute perfection. I’ll be re-creating this on my own at some point.

  2. I have never heard of romesco sauce until I started using meal kits. Throw four or five almonds in when making that sauce. It really takes it over the top!

    I didn’t like this sauce at all. It seemed like it would be so good but all I could taste was the vinegar. I followed the directions exactly, so I’m not sure how I could have messed it up.
