Small plate dining was until recently very popular in Anglophone restaurants.

But which food cultures integrate the “small plate” concept into everyday dining?

Japanese cuisine and the [Ichiju-Sansiai](https://japan-food.jetro.go.jp/en/topics/detail/134.html) format is one example.

Tapas isn’t typically eaten at home, so this wouldn’t count.
