Does anyone have this grill and can tell me if it’s worth it? I’ve had my eye on a three burner genesis for awhile, and noticed the price was reasonable. Upon searching the model number it appears this one has more plastic like a Spirit but is labeled a genesis. Thoughts?

It’s a Weber and it’s amazing. I have had mine for 10 years. Grate is still in excellent condition. I’ve replaced the flavor saver bars, but that is it.

  2. Picked this up from Costco a few weeks ago and just did the first burn-off and cook. It can get hot which was a concern for me. Had a crappy grill before that struggled to get to 500*. No good to sear a steak. This has no problem. Set all burners to high and it climbed to 600* pretty fast. Dialed it back to med and went inside. Reached 650* before I lowered it.

Assembly takes time but everything fit together perfectly. I was able to do it myself but easier if you have a helper at a few points.

Overall I’m really happy with the purchase. Made some chops on it that were great and I’m sure will only get better as it gets seasoned in.

Had my Genesis for 17 years before finding it a new home

I was split between this and the Spirit they had. I felt that the only difference I would want is the sear zone that the genesis had. The spirit came with the Weber connect thermometer and that’s what sold me. Both are three burners and have enamel coated cast iron grates. I felt for $250 less, the spirit was the better value.

  5. I have the S435 since like 5 years ago and couldn’t be happier with it. These things are worth every single penny. And this one here that you are asking for has a phenomenal price.

Bought this exact grill from Costco. Best grill I’ve ever owned. Gets hot af. Tedious assembly.
