After reading a post here the other day of people puking etc. I found a Dave’s about an hour away, drove there and got me a Reaper. The cashier said it was in fact ‘very reapey’ lol. I signed the consent and went in on it. She wasn’t kidding. It was definitely spicy af. Bite one of the chicken outside the bun was like a spoonful of cinnamon except the cinnamon is reaper powder. Still I enjoyed the flavor. The chicken was very good. I finished it tho through pain and tears. Not a quick meal on a work break kind of sandwich imo. Prob took me about 25 mins to eat it due to after bite recovery time. My stomach feels like I ate some really spicy shit getting gradually better after a few hours but no capsaicin cramps, vomiting or anything crazy. Would recommend. Thank you all for posting these here along with your experience since it finally prompted me to find one and try it. I grabbed an extra hot to go for later and will try to get back there soon.

Tldr got a Dave’s Reaper chicken sandwich after reading a scary experience here, it was very spicy, but not deadly. I hope no one calls corporate /s

Thanks for reading

Do they really have to put “even death” on there? Has anyone actually died from spicy? That’s… hm.

Meh, the xtra hot gave me horrible cramps. Pleasant enough going in, horrible afterwards. I like that this kind of heat is becoming popular nationwide, but I probably won’t ever go back.

It’s a very pricey chicken sandwich, that happens to be really hot.

Had one last night after seeing the same post. Decent spice level. Pleasantly surprised. Even had some reaper cauliflower, just as good.

  4. We’re finally getting a Dave’s in my area. Hopefully this is still on the menu when it opens.

Did one yesterday. I’m currently on my 6th shit today. 11/10 would recommend.

I worked next to a Dave’s yesterday, and considered going. Then I looked at the menu. Granted I didn’t go but it’s hard to see why it’s so hyped, the whole menu looks like a kids menu to me. Like 1 tender is 6 bucks, you can get 1 tender, fries and a drink for 9, or go wild and pay like 8 bucks for a slider or the one slider meal for 11. They have bigger purchases which all follow that crazy pricing. Even more nuts if you look at the cauliflower tenders.

I absolutely love hot stuff and I think I’d be the target audience but I have no idea how people are paying those prices unless the tender is the size of a whole breast or the slider is actually a sandwich.

Long winded way of asking, was it worth the money? Like as a meal not just a novel experience

We don’t have enough of this kind of shit here in the UK. I feel like I should change that.

Gonna start me up a BBQ business that also sets fire to your anus.

I’m thinking “Carolina bobs” and we basically take money off you to seriously fuck you up whilst we laugh at you.

    Reckon it’s a goer
