I’m not in the US so we don’t have those pudding mixes and things that I often see you guys using. These ones are the only protein pudding I’ve liked the taste of, I usually hate all store bought protein shakes and mousses and homemade protein shakes as well, but this one I really like as it just tastes like a cadbury pot of joy. I’m not sure how I could make something similar at home, I’ve made tofu pudding before which was nice but not as high protein.

The ingredients are basically just skimmed milk and milk protein, but I can’t work out 1. how it’s only 159 calories for 20g of protein and 2. how it tastes so good when it has sweeteners in it and I’ve always hated sweeteners.
The only thing I could think of is would be to get a protein shake you already like and then thicken it with cornstarch in a pot on the stove. I think one of the ready to drink varieties would probably work fine.
So it’s not exactly the same, but I get a protein shake and just add enough water so it stays thick and it’s like 25 protein per 100 calories. It honestly tastes great to me lol, and I usually add some berries. I guess you just need a shake you like.
If you’re in Europe and have a DM I just get their sportness shakes, I’ve tried chocolate and caramel and they both taste pretty good imo, not too expensive, but kind of too sweet for my taste. I like mixing it with plain yogurt too, to balance the sweetness a bit.
