INGREDIENTS:

~TO COOK SHRIMP:
1 1/2 lbs of shrimp
1 small piece of onion
2 garlic cloves
2 bay leaves
6 whole black peppercorn

~SAUCE:
1 cup of Clamato tomato cocktail (or to liking)
1 cup of Ketchup (or to liking)
1 cup of your shrimp broth (or to liking)
2 – 3 limes (juice)
1 tbsp of hot sauce
1/2 tbsp of Maggi Jugo Sazonador
1 tbsp of salsa inglesa (worcestershire) optional

8 – 10 oz Imitation crab

~VEGGIES:
1 cucumber
2 – 3 tomatoes
1/2 red onion
1 – 2 serrano peppers (depends how spicy you like it)
1/2 bunch of cilantro
avocado

  4. I have perfected my own shrimp cocktail over the years by choosing what I thought was the best of several different recipes. I guess I should have just waited for your video, as it is almost identical to mine. The only thing I do differently is use Valentina sauce and key limes and never Persian limes. The flavor is different. I like the idea of imitation crab though. I have to try it in my next cocktails. Thanks for your recipes. I love them since I learn a lot from you.

  5. I developed my own recipe over the years, this is it! Look no further people! Poach them shrimp shells and make that broth, key! The only tiny difference is I add some finely chopped celery also, just personal preference and a few shots of red wine vinegar. This is the best, great job and thanks for sharing!
