This afternoon I made crab casserole for lunch. It’s really intended to be a side dish, or as a snack to be eaten with chips, but it’s so yummy, I actually eat it as is and enjoy every bite.
It is heavily protein packed, being that the main ingredients are crab meat and cheese.
however if you’re using imitation crab meat, I’d like to add a sodium warning to this post, since too much sodium has been linked to kidney and heart disease, as well as other health concerns.
I enjoy this dish rather scarcely, due to the sodium content, but it is an indulgence when I do eat it, and if you are a huge fan of cheese such as myself, don’t have any risks linked to high sodium, ( please don’t eat this everyday) then I hope you’ll enjoy it too. Please let me know if you would like the recipe.
I hope I didn’t scare anyone off with the sodium warning, but I wanted to make sure I was transparent about awareness.
