Is it worth buying up? Are there any benefits to the next level up besides the grilling surface area?

No brainer. Huge cooking surface upgrade for a few extra bucks

I know nothing about the brand, but I know I’d never regret buying the bigger one.

Save up a little more and stay away from pit boss much better brands for about and cost… there is a reason why Walmart sells them…. and also stay away from trailer

Buy the bigger one. It’s not going to cost much more to run and there’s never too much grill surface.

I love my 1100. Glad I bought it, was considering a smaller one.

820 owner myself. First pellet grill and I love it, but after 3 years of it I definitely would go with a bigger size. Go with the 1100

I have a Pit Boss Lexington 256$ Walmart and I love it but having known better now I would have bought the bigger model only for the surface area.
