I plan to cook this in the slow cooker, any tips on how long and if i should add anything to it?

    Tri tip isn’t a great cut for slow cooking.

    I would add ice, keep it cool, and then cook it on the grill or smoker.

    Not really meant for slow cooker I would say it’s supposed to be cooked to a done temp like a steak.

    Id definitely grill that to 135f. Or I’ve had it cut up in chili ..

    even if you don’t have a grill, there are better ways to cook tritip. sear it well, and then put in the oven until it reaches 130 internal.

    I’ve done it for 8 hours added a little broth, shredded great for tacos

    Premarinated meats are usually very salty. I would not add salt to whatever you’re about to do.

    Kinda depends on the meal your looking to make, but you can’t go wrong with chopping up a couple onions to go underneath the meat.
