
Got these to make ttebokki at home, it turned out good, but I love fish cake I’ve tried at KBBQ places so I added a lot and the fishy smell and aftertaste was STRONG. Too strong, so much so I’ve avoided most Korean food all together lately and I hate that it’s done that to me (since almost nothing else is ever that fishy, I’m just hyper aware of the under-flavor now.
I know fish cakes aren’t usually supposed to taste that fishy from my experiences at Korean places.
Is it that I bought a bad brand? What can I do with these to make them taste less fishy so I can enjoy life again? I got nearly a whole package left and really don’t want to just throw it away.
Any help would be appreciated.
