This is Harold’s absolute favorite thing cube steak or some people call it country fried steak I’m taking the cube steak and I just have flour but I’m just mashing this cube steak down in it I did put some salt and pepper in with the flour Brown this cube steak on each side

I’m not even going to cook it all the way through now this recipe is in my cookbook and I’m just going going to put this piece into the crock pot I’m going to add one can of cream of mushroom soup and then you’re going to use one can of

Beef broth whisk it together pour it over the Cub steak cook it on high for about 2 to 3 hours cook it for about 5 hours on low watch this it will just it just falls apart

  2. My Mama used to cook this all the time when I was a child. She didn’t have a crockpot back then. She always cooked hers in a skillet on top of the stove.

  3. I did not grow up on this, however I do like it every blue moon with a LOT of water. I look like a blow fish from all the sodium. Had to go to the ER a couple times. My cardiologist says NO.

    But country fried steak, that i know, is pounded thin pan fried cubed steak with country gravy on it.
