This is my Mama she’s gonna be making her famous biscuits with the Hudson cream flour and our farm fresh eggs and she’s going to show you how to make her biscuits and here’s all the ingredients I guess you can’t turn it around you gotta film from the back camera I guess

But I’ll make sure it’s on you and stuff oh okay there’s her Hudson cream flower yep all right got it in here I’ll put about three cups going here I’ve got it in here I always buy my big bags of Hudson cream self-rising flour so I’ve got my

Flour in here I got about three cups in here and um then I’m gonna put my buttermilk in here so he’s a professional so she don’t need the measuring cup no I don’t measure nothing now I just put it in there and keep uh fix that until I get to the

Consistency that I want it and it’s if you not at 100 real cultured whole buttermilk I put a little bit of sour cream in it that makes it kind of soft and I put butter in here I mount my butter and put in here I put butter in my skillet

And then I stir it all up I put a little bit of water in it a little bit of sour cream in it when Milton brings me my spoon that I forgot he’s my helper so I put a little bit of that this in it everybody loves my biscuits they call

Call my cat head biscuits because I make them bigger than most people does so I just keep stirring this until I get it to the consistency that I want it and then I’m gonna fry me some uh some of my eggs I get from my chickens my farm fresh eggs

They’re eggs you could check them out with them collecting their eggs and stuff in the last video if you go back on my channel and check out the last video of them collecting the eggs got a lot of chickens it’s not laying yet it’s about what I want

To start a little bit more then I put it in my rolled in my flour here put it in my pan and then I bake it on 500. it’s according to the oven’s temperature though and I don’t do like most people do I use my hands I take a big spoon of it

Put it in here I rolled around in here and you can see why they caught my big cat head biscuits and I just kind of roll it around in my hand my granddaughters come down here want to see me how to do that my little tiny ones

They said mama show us how to do that you just roll your biscuits in the flour here in the bowl real good so to stick together then kind of roll it in your hand like this and just put them in there I’ll do one more and then

When they get done we’ll show you the results I’ll put the picture of the the end product in the for the title yeah that way y’all won’t have to wait for him to cook the whole time that’s right yeah that’s a good idea that I’ve used all-weather uh flour but

My Hudson cream does the best cream self-rising flour and I used a Hudson cream all-purpose flour or bleach flour whatever you want to call it I use that for my rolls we’re making biscuits this morning cat head biscuits if you’re watching this Hudson cream sponsor us we’ll use your your flower in every

Video yeah yeah I’ll put it in the background of every video I might and then when I get it all my biscuits all on there I kind of put butter on top of each one of them a little bit so they’ll get golden brown on top

And this is the first time that I’ve videoed any of this so that’s a super secret recipe y’all better watch it while you can before it gets taken down you know one day I’ll have to show you how to make my gravy I have secret ingredients for it too

Sun was making gravy one day and he called and said Mom how come my gravy don’t taste like yours I said well I don’t know and uh sometimes I use my secret ingredient to put in it and I told him about it one day he said well you didn’t tell me that

So he went home fixed some he said he’s holding out on us mom I said well I didn’t think so we’ll do one more big one and then we’ll put it in the oven this is my mom’s uh Skillet that she had when she was alive she used it for everything

So it was handed down to me so I’m using it and it’s you have to watch yo when you get it out of the oven you got to get a kitchen mitt to put on the end of it because it’s all still and it will burn you okay

I don’t even know that this was uh your mom’s killer so we’ll put a little bit of butter on it there’s the other spoon but let’s use this one just kind of this just kind of rounds the top of it a little bit hey we’ll put it in the oven oh 500.

500 that should do it and press start yeah I thought I did okay and that’s my biscuits that’s it that’s my most famous biscuits we’ll put the end product of what it looks like afterwards in the title of the video that’s right and they are good they say

Sponsor a certain cream and that’s all That’s all folks

  1. Awww man, you can get real Buttermilk. It's almost impossible to get real Buttermilk here. All I can find here is low-fat Buttermilk crap. What's the point in that?

  2. Even though she doesn't give amounts a recipe list at beginning of video would be great and we can see the rest.

  3. Thank you so much for sharing your recipes and you cooking. I so much so enjoying you share the Word. Corey, please know that I keep you and your wife also in my prayers.

  4. It’s so strange to me being from Australia and the names of things being different there, to us these are scones, and biscuits are what you guys call cookies 😂😊

  5. Use some sprite instead of water.. my grandma used that and shed roll them in bacon greasethen bake them..OH MY GOODNESS….with her white pepper gravy..ive never heard of putting coffee in gravy???

  6. Those look good! My oldest brother cooked alot, he lived with my mom , she needed care. They have since passed. But my brother made cathead drop biscuits, just the mixed dough, no kneading in flour. Greased iron skillet. 400 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes. Melted butter on top when done . I'll have to try your cathead biscuits 😋. Thank you for sharing 😊

  7. Watching your technique is much better than reading a recipe and hoping you get it right. Thank you for sharing and God bless y'all

  8. Please don't take this video down. My Grandfather used to make cathead biscuits but I was too young to remember how. I just now found this video and I need to learn this. Everytime I cook breakfast, I always get the question "no cathead biscuits?" So I'm so glad I come across this! I'm begging, please don't remove this video?????
