Tried my pizza oven in the Yoder. I’m impressed. The directions state I can leave the grilling door open but I didn’t this time since it was my first time. Also does anyone clean the diffuser regularly in the bottom of the grill?

    Leave the door open. That way it keeps feeding the fire and the stone gets appropriately hot enough to crisp up the crust. I closed the lid the first two times as well. The cheese would burn before the crust would finish. Left open it works way better.
