  1. Destroys the often used phrase, “ketchup is too hot for me.” Back to the drawing board

Is it really hot, or is it just ‘hot”? Too many products are called ‘hot’ but really just have a tiny hint of heat.

Ya know I’d trust Melinda’s ghost over this… Melinda’s isn’t hot so this is a mainstream fuckery… I’ll keep mixing my own

I like this because I’m lazy, no other reason than that. It’s not spicy but it has a twang beyond normal ketchup. You’re better off mixing your own Heinz + hot powders/hot sauce/sriracha. In fact, I usually pour sriracha on top of this when I do use it.

I clearly don’t know why I even buy it myself.

Tear the label off and tell your friends it’s ketchup

Ok, so I tried it with a burger, and it’s not that hot. It’s not bad either in terms of taste. I did enjoy this mixed with mayonnaise (what we call fry sauce here in UT) with the fries.

Just another spicy trend hopping product with disappointing heat and taste for a quick fast buck. Eventually will be out of production in a year. May come back if people randomly pretend to like it after realizing it left in the first place. Creating a new demand. Marketing 101.

  8. Ketchup with habenaro flavor. Nah.

Try India masala ketchup from an Indian grocery store (Maggi brand), you won’t go back to regular ketchup again.

Weird, I just saw this at a bargain outlet store a couple hours ago. Opted out of buying it because I hardly use ketchup and I’m staying in a hotel for work.

I’m not a fan of ketchup on my burgers. I would rather just put a good hot sauce or peppers on my burger. Better yet, chop up some peppers and garlic and mix them into the meat.

I’m jelly af all of the grocery stores near me just have regular ass ketchup.

It’s actually got some heat but it’s not crazy hot, I always add more hot sauce on top of it

So…this is a cool find and I don’t want to rain on your parade, but if you wanted spicy ketchup wouldn’t it be easier to just mix in some habanero powder to it? Maybe heat on low add in either powder or finely minced habs then throw in a blender.

We will never see commercial products that are truly hot. At least in the states. Paquis haunted ghost pepper chips proved to me 99% of people have no idea what they can handle.

    Is the flavor at least…habanero-y?

Please report. Thing is, I really like the tangy sweetness of ketchup. Idk if I’d like it changed
