Offer crispy fried shrimp to your guests and your children, they will not be able to stop eating them as long as there are some left on the table! Crispy fried shrimp require few ingredients and they are easy and quick to make. Here are the ingredients for 24 crispy fried shrimps.

You can find this list and other recipes on my website: I peel the shrimps and I keep their tail To avoid the shrimp bending during the frying, I make 3 small cuts on the shrimp underside To obtain a smooth batter, I sift: 100g of wheat flour 50g of cornstarch

1 tsp of baking powder I mix the whole I add 150ml of water I mix all together to obtain a smooth batter Then I add: ½ tsp of salt Some ground pepper 1 tbsp of oil I mix again When the frying oil reaches about 170 degrees celsius,

I dip a shrimp into the batter Then I put it gently into the oil I let them fry for about 3 minutes I flip the shrimps so they will evenly brown When they are golden brown, I take them out and put them on paper towels

  1. Your recipes called for only 1 teaspoon of baking powder but you said in the video 1 tablespoon of baking powder. Please specify which is the correct amount of baking powder please. Can it be used with Wheat Starch? what is the difference in between wheat flour and wheat starch? I would like to try it as soon as you respond to my question. Many thanks Morgane.
