I finally figured out the best way to carbonate my home brew hard apple cider – tips for anyone interested! It’s great flat, but carbonated has a champagne feel to it – delicious!

    HOW TO CARBONATE CIDER – STEPS:

    Get fresh pressed organic apple juice
    Siphon into clean barrel that has spigot and bung set up
    Add yeast – amount per instructions on yeast package
    3-4 months fermentation time – cider should become cloudy – NOT CLEAR
    Get bottles and bottle capper
    Add organic dextrose – about 20ml dextrose for 475ml bottle of apple cider
    Wait 2-3 weeks and then taste test
    Store in cool, dark place
