Thanks for learning how to make your Caesar Salad Homemade!

Hey guys my name is Caitlin and welcome back to Cait straight up today I’m going to walk you through making your very own homemade creamy caesar dressing we’re starting this recipe with half to three-quarters of a cup of very finely grated parmesan cheese and about 4 to 5 cloves of finely minced garlic

After that we’re going to add about 1 teaspoon of anchovy paste now this smells a little fishy so just get in there really quickly and then I like to add just a little dollop of garlic paste as well now i have juices from one

Whole lemon so we got half in here we’re going to squeeze it on out flip that side up and do our other half we are going to add half of a cup of olive oil next we’re going to add about half to three-quarters of a cup of mayo

I very into this Hampton Creek just mayo because it’s egg free dairy free gluten free and soy-free it’s non GMO and i like it just a little bit more than the traditional hellmans so about half to three-quarters of a cup to give it that creamy texture of a

Creamy caesar last ingredient about half a tablespoon of dijon mustard and a little dash of vinegar last before we mix this all up we’re going to do a little bit of sea salt and some fresh ground black pepper and then we are going to whisk our creamy caesar dressing

All together and I guys after you get that all whisked together your have delicious homemade creamy dressing to pour all over your Caesar salad if you like a thicker dressing make sure to add a bit more mayo and if you like a thinner dressing

Go ahead and heavy up on your oil and vinegar subscribe to Cait Straight Up for more recipes every tuesday if you have any questions about this video make sure to comment below or tweet at me @caitstraightup and other than that guys I can’t wait to see you next time bye bye!
