* Chicken Thighs
Marinating Recipe:
* 2 teaspoon garlic powder
* 2 teaspoon ginger powder
* 1/2 teaspoon salt
* 2 teaspoon paprika

* Pepper Mix ( Red pointed pepper, Bell Pepper, Onion & Thyme)
The sauce:
* 1/4 cup mayonnaise
* 4 tablespoons Heinz ketchup

What going for this welcome to my YouTube channel and today episode we’re going to be showing you how to make Nigerian chicken shama yes you get me right so join me on this episode where I teach you or show you rather how I make my own chicken sh let’s go first step in
Making your chicken shama is your chicken your chicken have to be your chicken have to be sweet so first of all we need to make sure that we spice our chicken wash your chicken properly then you spice it up so this is um chicken tights I like using chicken tights for
My sh if you want to use chicken breast you can use chicken breast everybody with their own opinion you get but I love using chicken tights because chicken tights have um it takes in spice you get whatever spice you put in your chicken tights it get absorbed in it
Easily so that is the reason why I use chicken tight so this is my washed chicken tights and um one thing I do first of all is to give my chicken tights a shape like I cut it up first um so this is how I cut my chicken tip
You first of all you get give it a mark on the body one is the enough then you throw it away mark because you want the spice that you’re putting the chicken to be inside the chicken not just on the surface of the chicken do you understand so this is
Where I cut up my CH and um then after cutting then we so I’ll be back you ask me how I marinate my chicken so this is how I marinate my chicken Ginger uh we add some ginger we add some all purple spice seon I paprika sorrya chicken Kips definitely
Salt now we’re go in with some vegetable oil thing is fresh time I love fresh time I love using fresh time I prefer the fresh one to the dry one so all we do is just put in some fresh time so another thing is I have this
Pepper mix it’s made with um bell pepper pointed red pepper onion garlic and some oil and fresh th in it so I like having this mix and my chicken because it gives it this nice Aroma and nice taste it comes down if you don’t want to use your hands
Bare hands if you don’t have blows please make sure you wash your hand before you put in your hand in the checken but if you have gloves advise use the glove it’s done so we leave this for like 20 to 30 minutes but if you have all night you can put all night
Which is advisable but if you want to use it just properly just fast just make sure you leave it for 20 to 30 minutes and you good to go if you want a WIS enough for you can still use one we covered this up and chicken marinate
Yeah we going we’re back so just a recap here um on what we’ve been doing we have our chicken marinated and it’s already 30 to it’s already 30 minutes while the chicken was being marinating and um another thing again is the chicken is already in the oven and um make sure you
Spray oil in your chicken every 10 minutes while it’s in the oven so if you don’t have the normal expensive sha grill chicken grill that normally have in this sh shop don’t stretch yourself put it in the oven low heat understand OV very well put it on low heat don’t
Get that chicken too dry because if you do you won’t like having dry so much dry chicken in your sha spray your oil every 10 to 20 minutes the O the chicken is in the oven this is just vegetable oil make sure you spray your oil and um while the
Chicken is in the oven we already have our cabbage being sliced up so we have the white cabbage the purple garbage and the carrots you understand the purple gabbage is optional to me I just like my food being beautiful so that the reason why I always have purple garbage purple
Garbage just to make it look nice and clean and sweet and beautiful and we have our car which is a must and another thing is one question people always ask is what bread do you use for your sha yes that is a really important question don’t make use of tortilla don’t you
Ever make use of tortilla to do your sha rap it’s not nice to use tortilla we’ll make use of what we call Shama bread so where we get our shama bread from um I you can get this shama bread from any Asian shop or Lebanese shop it’s mostly
Lebanese bread so I buy mine in an Asian shop I see often there and then this bread comes in a very tck for this is the bread so please don’t mind me I already washed my hand so number one in the kitchen always wash your hand every
5 minutes you’re in the kitchen whether you touch something or you didn’t touch anything make sure you wash your hand every 5 minutes so the bread comes in this form and to me it’s to tick do you understand so when you wrap your shamama you see the the layer is too thick so
All I do is patient in the kitchen um this is one wrap so all I do is separate it you make use of your knife go so quietly and gently on the bread and you separate it this is is really difficult because it’s patience you need patience
So the why people the reason why people make use of just a full wrap is because of they don’t have the patience to separate it or they didn’t know that they can separate it so if you know you can separate it and you don’t have the
Patience there is a problem but if you don’t know that you can separate it and you have the patience you can’t separate your bread so that’s it so everything is already chicken is in the oven our garbage is been sliced up our bread is been separated um you’ll give me more

And um our base is ready yes we’re back everything is ready I’ve sliced up the whole bread and now we have to make sure that we grill should I say Grill just roast up our hot dog so this is chicken hot dog yeah some people are
Scared of hot dog is made with Pok no they have chicken hot dog they have Pok hot dog and they have tury hot dog so this is chicken because most people don’t eat pork so we leaving using chicken so I have my pan already on fire
Um which all I need to do is just sprinkle little of oil stay vegetable oil and um I tossing my hot Dog because some people don’t eat sh some people don’t eat sha with with saus and I’m wondering why the reason why some people don’t eat shama with sausage because they feel that this sausage is Pok cuz I had a friend who is Muslim and
He was like I want to order sh and he made sure that please not sausage I am Muslim and I don’t eat pork and I was like the sausage I’m using is chicken so it’s not pork okay if it’s chicken please use chicken so some people don’t
Eat hot dog because they think it’s Pok so it’s chicken always make sure you tell your clients or your people or your friends whoever you’re making sh for that it’s made the chicken some people don’t eat pop so now the hot dog is on fire we just have to wait for it a
Little bit to get just golden brown a little bit and um the chicken is ready yes the chicken is ready and now we have to start wrapping the Sha don’t go anywhere stay tuned and I’ll be back peace so everything is ready we have our salad
