I've been wanting to try beef rendang for months. Had work near the new location, so decided to stop by finally. I only saw Wee in passing, as she was leaving somewhere when I got there. The person who helped me was very friendly, though. Unfortunately this just didn't hit the mark for me. Part of it is personal taste, but the beef was also incredibly dry. I'm not sure if rendang is supposed to be like that, but from what I've read it's meant to be tender. It had a lot of flavor, just not my favorite. I'm not sure if they use galangal or ginger, I'm not a fan of ginger so that mightve been it. Anyway, just an honest review. Happy Tuesday.
