My neighbour works at Eurospin, occasionally gives me things she's brought home. These started as the really dull kind of pizza you often see in bars. Thick spongy base, basic topping (this one tomato & capers) that would be fine on a normal base, but here totally masked by the dough. On their own, great as a filling snack if you're really hungry. Otherwise, nah.

But in the fridge I had some Provolone piccante, champignon mushrooms and a jar of alici. (I feel slightly guilty, I got most if not all of those from Conad).
A few mins under the grill, gnam gnam!
