I know it's not exactly traditional to its core.

Figured it has enough Italian components to belong here.

Ps: I have trouble making any dish without adding mushrooms.

    It’s not ingredients that make a dish Italian or not. It’s the concept.

    This concept is not Italian.

    – Mushrooms and seafood I’ve rarely seen served together in Italy.

    – That slice of bread (is that bread?) along with the pasta is just overkill.

    – Basil AND parsley together as garnish, not even a chiffonade, simply whole leaves. That’s just a no.

    Don’t get me wrong, it was probably tasty. Just not Italian, not at all
