Go to a real taquero, or stand in line for 2 hours for some over salsa’ed mids tacos, served by his highness, Roy Boy

His name brings the lines. But the food brings the repeat customers. If that’s how it works, then more power to him.
I don’t have the time to sit in line like that, but if somehow I got to try and it only took the same amount of time as my local taqueros, then I’ll try at least once. The neighborhood should take advantage while they can, don’t blame them one ounce.
But then it’ll come down to quality. If it’s worth it, price and taste wise, then I’d likely go back. But for now, I got a handful of spots near me at similar price points and maybe a 10 min wait.

I’ve had Kogi a few times and was never a gigantic fan of it. Willing to give this a try though.

Are you the ghost of foodlosangeles past? Give us an update. We already know. This place has been torn to shreds and Roy has even responded to us specifically.

Seems like no one here read the article written with the comments I’ve seen so far.
Overall, a nice summary of what Roy has goin for this new spot. Can’t say I’d wait 1-2 hrs for tacos when I have tire shop, ave 26 and a few more around me nuts if I’m around and there’s no line I’m down.
