Tl;dr Cute spot. Enjoyed it but wouldn’t say we were blown away either.
Pictured:
Focaccia – Outstanding. So delicate and crispy.
Ricotta & Pistachio Pesto – Little too underwhelming for me. Wish we got the pâté.
Broccoli Caesar – Very good. Punchy but not overwhelming.
Tortelli – My wife loved this. I thought the lemon flavor was too subtle.
Plin dell’ alta langa – Excellent. I mopped up all the sauce with the focaccia.
Ribs – Honestly nothing I could really complain about other than they don’t really look appetizing. Well executed, tasted really great but the whole time I was thinking, I’m eating ribs, which I could make at home.
Honeycomb Ice Cream – This was it for me. Not even a sweets guy but everything about this was yum. Had a salted caramel taste but using honey and the ice cream was so smooth and wonderful.
Service model is a bit weird as the staff seems to service the entire restaurant. So after we finished going over the menu and recommendations with one person, a completely different person came to take our order.
All in all, it was a good meal but not quite in that wow category like Angelini is for my tastebuds. 8.6/10
