This recipe is paleo, chemical-free, organic, gluten-free, grain-free, dairy-free, soy-free, and refined sugar-free!

Ingredients:
(crust)
2 cups of organic cashew flour (or organic almond flour)
1/4 cup of organic melted unrefined coconut oil
1/4 cup of organic maple syrup
1/8 cup of organic cocoa powder
Pinch of pink sea salt

(filling)
1 cup of organic coconut cream
1 cup of organic unsweetened almond butter
1/2 cup of organic maple syrup
Splash of organic vanilla extract

Directions:

1.) Mix all of your crust ingredients together in an oversized mixing bowl. I always mix the dry ingredients first, then add the wet.

2.) Take your greased pie pan and press down your crust.

3.) Now add all of your filling ingredients in an oversized mixing bowl (I cleaned out the same one and used it again) and beat with your egg beaters for 60 seconds ish.

4.) Lastly, freeze your pie for at least one hour. I kept mine in the freezer for 90 minutes and then moved it to the fridge.

Enjoy!! Store in the fridge so it doesn’t melt! 🙂

For years I yo-yo dieted and would successfully lose weight, every time, but I was never able to maintain the weight loss. I finally stumbled upon an elimination diet in 2015, and for the first time in my life I was able to not only maintain my weight loss, but it made me realize how sensitive my body is to processed foods; especially when it has dairy and/or gluten in it.

It was such a relief to finally understand why I couldn’t just eat like a “normal” person. I was elated! However, the enthusiam didn’t last long because I realized I couldn’t possibly live the rest of my life without eating cheese, pasta, pizza, bread, butter, etc. etc. I knew that the only way I could maintain this new organic foods “paleo” lifestyle was to start cooking. So, I searched Youtube for paleo channels that were actively posting new recipes, a couple of times a week, and at the time I couldn’t find any, let alone channels that were actively updating an amazon store with paleo products, and uploading tips and tricks as well. I knew I needed to do it, so I started with an iphone and a dream. I literally didn’t even have a digital camera, let alone the ability to make eye-catching thumbnails, oh and the best part? I didn’t know how to cook!!! lol

So, I started off this channel by just figuring it out as I went. I’ve come a long way (to say the least) and I’ve learned a lot. I now focus on making amazing paleo recipes throughout the seasons. You don’t have to worry about not having your pumpkin spice lattes in the fall, or your pies during the holidays, I have it all for you, and the best part? It’s all paleo style! So you and your family can enjoy your favorite treats; AND the holidays without worry.

I pride myself on making everything easy and delicious! The last thing I want is for you to have to buy 20 ingredients to make one meal. Today unhealthy paleo living we’re going to make a delicious chocolate peanut butter pie but because it’s paleo style we’ll make it out of almond butter it’ll be grain free gluten-free dairy-free refined sugar-free absolutely delicious and no bake and easy to do too I am down 70 pounds doing the Paleo

Thing let me back up so you can see my legs so you can see my body and see that I really did take the weight off and I stick to it by eating delicious treats like this one let’s do this we’re going to start off by making the crust

Super easy to do again this is no bake anybody can do it I’m gonna use cashew flour and you can use almond flour if you’re paleo if you’re not paleo at all there’s really no reason why you can’t use whatever flour you use whatever flour you got but because I’m paleo I

Make my flowers so all I did was I grabbed some organic cashews and Blended them up in the blender and because we’re making it chocolate pie you got to put some cocoa powder in it I always use unsweetened organic cocoa powder and I’m just going to give this a nice mix now

Before everything else goes in we’ll do a dash of some pink Himalayan sea salt you can do as much or as little as you like of that same thing with cinnamon I’m just going to do a dash now your wet ingredients we’re going to do some organic maple syrup and some

Melted organic unrefined coconut oil this is like your butter replacement and this is going to be delicious and buttery and it’s going to be like a wet sand once we’re all done mixing it up now take your pie pan I already sprayed mine with some organic coconut oil and

We’re just going to press down your chocolatey crust until it forms into the pie pan and I’m gonna let this freeze for just a couple minutes while we make the filling this is the fun part The Filling which we’re doing a cup of full fat organic coconut cream

The natural value one which you can get at Amazon but Trader Joe’s this sells this now too and this is the organic one we’re going to do a cup of the almond butter and it’s going to be equal parts so just about a half

Of this guy I’m not I was gonna put it in the measuring cup but you know I don’t know why I’m not going to because I hate cleaning out the measuring cup that has the butter in it because it’s impossible to clean it so we’re not going to do that

We’re just gonna take half of it and have some fun with it gonna do a healthy splash of vanilla or this is organic vanilla extract by the way oh yeah healthy splash of that and then Your organic maple syrup I have all of the measurements and the directions below too so you don’t have to memorize anything and now we’re just going to beat it with our egg beaters for like 60 seconds ish and I’m gonna do mine on low pull out your crust from the freezer

And just pour this on top and I’m going to freeze this because it’s not gonna set it’s going to take like overnight if I put this in the fridge so I’m gonna put it in the freezer for an hour and then once I feel like it’s legit Frozen then you can move

It to the fridge and then just leave it in the fridge and as you’re slicing it and eating it you know it’s going to go back in the fridge too we came we conquered this delicious peanut butter frozen chocolate pie let me see if I can get it to focus on the

Pie so you can go there it is gorgeous pie that of course is made out of almond butter because we’re paleo I did sneak a little bite already but let’s do it on camera so you can get the real look-see I’m probably going to keep it in the fridge

It definitely needs to stay cool it’s going to fall apart and melt if it doesn’t mm-hmm It’s already melting a little bit which is perfect because it makes it taste even better in my opinion and if you can have peanut butter you can make it with peanut butter because this is a Paleo Channel we do almond butter instead but this is delish OMG this is delish
