Hey folks, some time ago I posted about preordering from Mischief this portafilter and high extraction yield basket. They came in yesterday and this morning I gave it a try.
I had no problem to dial in coming from an 872 holes basket, I just went down of two steps in grinding and I could go one more finer.
The very first impression is that I got out a bit floral bitter back taste that before was not there, definitely interesting, I’ve to experiment more.
The portafilter fits nicely in my Profitec Go, I just need to push it a bit further comparatively to my ECM portafilter, but no problem.
Experience with this basket or questions/curiosities you want to ask?

I’ve read a few comments about an unpleasant taste with the mischief basket when compared to a wafo or Webber.
Not sure how true or what impact materials have on it
Is this the weber portafilter that lies perfectly flat on a table?
Never been sure of what the wave shaped holes are suppose to do compare to regular ones
the portafilter looks gorgeous
Any harder to clean well, than a more normal number of holes mesh? As in, are the holes smaller so they clog more and resist cleaning?
