while rather scrumptious, the fish & chips was $18 & a bit small (a lot of breading, while very tasty, was a bit much because the ratio was a bit off); fries were good. i’ll have to come back on a normal day, because it was hard to justify the price/worth. the pretzel sticks (!!!) were great & the whipped garlic butter was fantastic (couldn’t remember the price). the menu claimed that the fish & chips came with tartar, but the sauce tasted more the sauce hyde park serves with their fries (IYKYK)—great, though. Given that it was 3/17 & apparently also their third birthday & they were working with a special/limited menu and a TON of people, I’ll give them a pass for any potential misgivings/slip-ups. Loved the space & build/decor; service was nice for how slow/busy they were. Jake(?) was very nice, very apologetic for the wait but we understood! Eager to go back on a more chill day.
