I am just starting to calorie count again after having a pretty bad binge eating/drinking week. Injured my foot during exercise and my all or nothing mentality kicked in so I gave up on completely on trying to be healthy. Drank so much I blacked out (maybe sorta figuring out I have a binge drinking problem) so I might even give up alcohol for awhile.
Have tried losing these stubborn ten pounds pounds for awhile but usually a bad weekend with lots of alcohol leads to bad food choices so I probably always throw off my deficit. I tended to forgive some drinks through the week too. oops. I’ve been not good about tracking those weekend bad days also because I know they are bad and am afraid of seeing the reality of the amount of calories I consume. But back on track and have been at 1400 for this whole week!
Currently eating at 1400 but I’m petite 5’2” so plan going down 1200 eventually. CW: 126 GW:112-115
I’m always amazed at how big a plate of food you can eat when you load up with veggies and healthy carbs.
Now my problem is just getting enough protein in the day at 1400 calories with a vegetarian diet.
(Also I use a scale and hopefully I’m getting these calories right)
