I was inspired to make this post because I'm planning to make orecchiette con cime di rapa this weekend. You will not find it on any Italian menu in Austin.
It is a typical pasta dish from Puglia and only has 6 ingredients to make, unless you add an optional protein like sausage or anchovies. My HEB started carrying the orecchiette, and the broccoli rabe/rapini (AKA cime di rapa) is at Randalls or Central Market, but can also be substituted with turnip greens.
