  1. Making this right now. Don't have nuts so will top with coconut. Will let u know how it turned out.

  2. Hi Laura I tried this recipe with crushed pineapple drained instead of bananas and its really good with the coconut and macadamia nuts… give it a try you may just like it… we did..

  3. Hi Laura, i'm allergic to eggs but love my cakes n deserts, so i always choose to omit the egg if the recipe requires it. Most of the cake's don't rise and aren't as soft and spongy as they should be. Is there anything that i'm not doing right or anything that you might recommend i use instead. Thank you.

    Love your channel

  4. I haven't tried it personally, but I have seen in recipes by other channels (e.g. the carrot cake recipe on the Show Me The Curry channel) that eggs can be substituted by flaxseed powder mixed with a little bit of water. Please look up that recipe to see how it's done. They have a lot of eggless cake recipes as well. I hope it helps. 🙂

  5. I tried this recipe and OMG it was a hit
I added pecan and substitute the macadamia nuts with sliced almonds. I also added cinnamon and nutmeg
    I love the coconut ,
it very moist. It such a delight and very easy to make
    Adding to my favorite recipes.

  6. oh dear LAURA!!! Your recipe doesnt mention when to add the bananas…can you pls update it?? Ive had to come here to see when you put it…

  7. Thanks for this recipe!! I didn't have coconut but I did add a teaspoon of cinnamon and my family loves it! On a side note, the written recipe on your website doesn't say when to add the bananas. Not a huge deal though since I just assumed it was included with the wet ingredients

  10. Faith diamond, before you click in the video to watch in every recipe she has, go down below and that's where you find the ingredients and the process. Most people have problems with this. It's because they're not scrolling all the way down. They just look at the video right away. Probably too excited! I am on the process of putting all my ingredients right now! Mmmm…can't wait!:-)

  11. Hi Laura, what do you use for eggs for baking if you do not eat eggs? Does the substitute come up well?

  12. I bet the coconut adds a good amount of moisture to the bread. That helps to keep it nice and moist but it surely won't last that long if it tastes that good. Looks delicious!

  13. I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS RECIPE!!!! and my boyfriend loves it to!!!!!!!! thank you so much!! so easy, so TASTY!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH LAURA!!! <3
