The edges look burnt because i didn’t cover with foil like i recommend in the video. I now use my top tack as a foil shield for all my keto baking and everything is covered 100% of the time.
INGREDIENTS

1 1/2 cup chopped pecans
1 melted stick butter 8 Tbs
1 cup granular Allulose
1 cup liquid Allulose
3 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
Bake at 325 NOT 350 for 60 minutes
20 minutes into baking, loosly cover with foil “shiny side up”, until finished 40 more minutes

This is Thanksgiving on a plate hello and welcome to my keto kitchen I’m Victoria today we are going to make pecan pie not just any pecan pie I actually have my grandmother’s recipe and we’re going to take her traditional pecan pie recipe and we’re going to make
A keto just a few tweaks but we’re not changing the amount of anything so let’s get started in the description box will be a link to my pie crust so this is my keto pie crust that I made about a week ago I put it in the freezer so it’s frozen
I’m gonna open it up beautiful now inside of the pie we’re going to take one and one half cups of chopped pecans just dump them all in the pie crust so let’s spread them out move them up the sides I mean it’s a pecan pie you have to have a ton of pecans
That is step one so set that aside now we need one stick of melted butter that is going to go into my mixer Bowl first and I’m actually going to take the bowl out I’m going to swish around the butter kind of working it up the side a little bit
And that is because our next ingredient is one cup of liquid allulose liquid allulose is an equivalent to corn syrup so with liquid iulose it’s kind of sticky so I wanted the butter to prevent it from sticking to the sides next I need three eggs one teaspoon of vanilla
One cup of granular allulose now I’m gonna put this attachment on and we are going to blend this very well this is so easy to be so delicious how can it be so easy now all we’re doing is pouring this on top of the pecans
Wow look at the pecans they come up to the top my mama which is my grandmother on my mom’s side she told me don’t worry the pecans will come to the top and this they have okay so I very carefully am going to put this in the oven without spilling it now
This is going into the oven at 350 degrees for one hour and now here is some specifics that will help you when you bake this bake it at 350 for one hour after 20 minutes cover it in foil remember it’s shiny side up with foil so loosely just lay a
Piece of foil on top and let it finish baking completely it’ll still have 40 minutes to go but after 20 minutes just Loosely lay a piece of foil on top it’ll continue to bake but it won’t Brown as much if you have that piece of foil Loosely on top
I actually followed directions I’m so proud of myself look how gorgeous it is fully cooked through this now it’s gonna have to set for a few hours I’m gonna let it cool and then I’m going to put it in the refrigerator because the inside has to stiffen up it just smells
I am ready for Thanksgiving to be right back it is now time to try the pecan pie it has been in the refrigerator for about an hour it is still warm I’m going to cut into it we’re going to taste it and let’s see what a keto pecan pie tastes like okay

Yes I burnt it! Lol but you don’t have too just have it covered with foil the entire time or at least start at 20 minutes into baking. I now have a foiled top rack in my oven to cover all my foods and prevent burning. I have a “short” in my video list to show you what my oven set up looks like now.

this looks scrumptious unfortunately liquid allulose in canada is beyond expensive, $82 for 14 oz bottle on amazon, coming from the u.s also since allulose has not been approved for sale in canada, i will try and find an alternative i can use, i had saved your oreo recipe but cannot find it now, was hoping to make those this weekend, was it deleted?? any plans on ginger bread cookies
I will give this a go! My daughter recently (a couple years ago) discovered a no Karo pecan pie that’s out of this world!! I would honestly consider making it with no liquid allulose and go with all granulated. Seriously, was the best pecan pie we’ve ever had.

I assumed it wouldn't matter so I baked it covered with foil for 40 minutes, and then I took it off for the last 20 minutes. Figured it would be easier to pull the foil off than put it on when the baking dish was hot and oven was on.

How do you make the Liquid Allulose or where do you get it ?
I made this for Thanksgiving. I was hoping I would love it, but not so much. I won't be making this again. Sorry, Victoria. It had a weird taste, not very sweet and not like pecan pie.
I made this for Christmas, and it is absolutely amazing! It even has the gooey, syrup layer in the middle, like "normal" pecan pies. I will definitely be making this again. And the crust held up perfectly!
Please give metric measures for your recipes. Australian cup and spoon measurements are not the same. I cannot like your videos until you start doing this.
When using simple syrup you use 1 part hot water to 1 part sugar. Why can't you make simple syrup out of allulose and hot water the same way as above. That's probably all allulose liquid is. "Simple syrup"
