First time making pulled pork in the slow cooker was a success!

    I cooked it on low for about 10 hours in a Coca-Cola, and it pulled apart like nothing. I covered it in my favourite BBQ sauce and it was easily one of the tastiest things I’ve ever slow cooked!

    I would advise not pulling the meat in the juices next time. You can drain and reserve the juices to add after it’s pulled it you want, but that much juice/fat is not necessary for pulled pork

    If you want an idea for next time, remove the meat and reserve the juice and then shred it

    THEN heat up a pan and add the shredded pork and pour in some of the juices and “crisp” it up a bit

    Really fucking good on a flour tortilla with some pico de gallo.

    EDIT – I think this is carnitas, and typically it’s made with the juices of some oranges I believe so unsure if it would be as good with the Coca Cola base 🤔
