My sister in law wants to start a business. Would you guys buy her charcuterie board based on the pic? Any feedback?

It looks really good, but in proportion to everything it looks like there isnt that much cheese. I’d say maybe put in a little more!

Additional and different crackers and I 100% would. What’s the price going to be?

Sorry to say, those grapes look pretty sad. And those look like Ritz crackers. It’s fine if you’re doing it on the fly when you are entertaining a few people yourself, but I would not purchase this.

She’s on the right track but needs more polish. Too much crammed on plate and needs higher quality ingredients for higher cost. As everyone said, more cheese

This is a great start and is a solid plate for home entertaining, but it needs much more polish and practice to be a quality salelable product. Needs a much bigger plate, everything is too crammed together. Needs more interesting and high quality items. Not enough cheese, too much fruit, and diced strawberries is weird presentation choice. Grapes look worse for the wear. Ritz crackers are tacky. The honey is poorly thought out and is going to make a mess of the whole plate. The little piles of trail mix are odd – how are people meant to eat this?

Get her to look at some other local charcuterie businesses and what they do because this looks too plain (it makes me think I would rather just make one myself).

No offense but no I wouldn’t, because I could do that myself, easily. The charcuterie boards that are worth paying for are the ones that have a serious wow factor, she should look through this sub and other related subs and see which boards have gotten the most points for inspiration! There are some incredible ones here and r/cheese

I don’t think this is the best sub to ask this in. A lot of people here eat these on a regular basis and most make it themselves so they’re not likely to agree to pay for it, especially not if they can pick their own flavors and things they like for cheaper. It’s like asking if someone would buy some pottery you made in a pottery making subreddit.

I personally think it’s very cute, for a group of 2-4 maybe, I love the variety and how she did the meat flower, lol. For a bigger crowd, I’d definitely have more variety. I love charcuterie boards but I never buy them for some reason? But I would buy this to bring to a small get together, very lovely in my opinion.
