Had an absolutely delicious dinner at Esme last night. Was actually walking over to watch Ghostbusters at the Culver Theatre but realized I was super hungry and this place has been on my list.

The scallop aquachile was unique and I loved having the citrus in there. It was served with blue corn tostadas.

But the real wow was that fish. It was like heaven in a bowl. It was the fish of the day (I think bass?) with cabbage, potatoes, bacon and this just delicious broth. I’m not even a fish person really but the waitress said it was a comfy dish and since it was cold out I went for it.

I loved the variety of teas they had since I’m a tea person. Also got the blackberry mint fizz non-alcoholic drink pictured too.

I included the menu that has the prices. All the food was well worth the price before people get rabid about how expensive it is. I read the menu and chose to eat there, I knew what the prices were. Seriously I would eat that fish again right now. So good.

Also, there is free parking in the garage behind Main Street for an hour and then I think it’s $1 per hour or something like that. So pretty reasonable and convenient.
