Do yourself a favor. Incorporate the sauce with the pasta before it makes it to your plate. It can happen in a pot or saute pan, but it needs to happen. I cringed when I saw this. That pale pasta is screaming for that sauce. Parmigiana is not typically served over pasta in Italy. This is a very American version of parmigiana di melanzane.
