Middle pepper (bananna) keeps getting infested with aphids. I spray it down (under leaves as well) with the super soap and they die and are gone for about a week. I know they're dead because of the carcasses left behind. But they keep coming back again and again. Funny thing is there aren't any on the other 2 peppers on the sides. Whats the most effective way to get rid of aphids?

Daily spray with a blast of water. They are born pregnant and you probably have a large population on hand.

Spinosad is effective as well but you have to follow the instructions for it to be safe and effective.

The soap strips the waxy coating off the body of soft insects. Basically they spill their internals and die off. But it only works on mature aphids. Doesn’t work on eggs. And so you have to spray for several days in a row to kill off all generations of aphid.

You can just use Dawn dish soap for this. I spray whether I see aphids or not, probably twice a month. Once a day for a week if I do see them.

  3. The absolute best way? Put them around other plants that they like more
