Eclipse cake for a customer!

Galaxy cakes are one of my favorite types to do! I just shifted the color scheme to fit eclipse lighting. The pics aren’t great for showing the color layering under the black streaks but it was red, purple, and gold! Not a huge fan of the top, but it’s what the customer wanted. I felt like I couldn’t get the proportions right to make it look more like an eclipse than a moon. But overall I’m really happy with how it turned out!
