Never seen a nail, mine is usually rocks. Stopped using them

  2. MyyWifeRocks

They have nails inside them for metal detectability. Just in case you ingest one, they can find it with a scanner. /s 🤣

  3. Rasmo420

But on the third day the briquet will rise again.

I’m going to need one more pic to understand what you are talking about…

  5. Fuegodeth

I usually stick to Kingsford, or lump charcoal, or hardwood chunks. I have never found a nail.

  6. Marcus2Ts

Can’t tell what I’m looking at, you should’ve taken 3 or 4 more photos

  7. TheSignificantDong

I’ve lost my thumb grilling more times than I’d care to mention.

  8. Fun-in-Florida

Have found a nail in Kingsford too..

Where do you buy your used nails that come with free charcoal?

  11. H0T50UP

I’ve never found debris in my charcoal and all I ever use is Kingsford (queue the hate) am I just incredibly lucky?

  12. Starscream147

Reminds me of Frankenstein and his fat foot.

    PUTT!!!!

    *putts*

    YEAH!!!

    0. My charcoal hasn’t been sponsored by Lil Nail B yet.

    Limited edition briquettes
    I’ll give you $100,000 for it😂

B&B is still the primary choice of competition steak cooks, but yea, this is no bueno. Been using B&B for almost a decade and never had issues. Glad I bought 20 bags before the buyout.

For home cooking, kingsford is fine along with many other. But I’ve heard good things and seen a lot of competitors using “the good charcoal company” briquettes lately. If this is the new standard for B&B, I can see why so many are jumping ship.

Damn I gotta stop eating those yummy briquettes before I get hurt

  17. Zen_Bonsai

Reminds me of being a kid and getting prizes in the cereal

  18. X-RAYben

    >How many times has this happened to you?

Never, because I have never bought a bag before. Heard too many horror stories like yours to bother buying one, even on sale.

  19. carguy82j

Probably not gonna make too much of a difference

  20. _DapperDanMan-

Never. I use real hardwood charcoal, not pressed crap.

  21. EpixSnailer

totally off topic but is it me or does it look like the 🅱️

  22. Random21994

Never. I have tried that charcoal a few times and haven’t had that. Usually use lump though

  23. neverknowwhatsnext

I’ve seen nails like that in pallets. 😂

  24. Gh0st_Pirate_LeChuck

You got nail in my coal!!!
Well, you got coal in my nail!!!

  25. JohkesOnYou

I hate when I hammer a nail into briquettes instead of my hand. You’ll nail it next time.

  26. Busy_Mud_874

I always buy B&B, but never had a briquette with a nail in it. I think they burn a lot cleaner than Kingsford blue and they’re reasonably priced at Academy. I’ll be checking for nails now, though.

  27. GrillinFool

But wait, it’s not Cowboy charcoal. Only Cowboy charcoal has foreign objects in the bag /s
