

Hello Friends! This Old Delhi-Style Degi Biryani Is Surely A Dish To Relish with simple, easy-to-follow steps we shared here.

Degi Biryani a flavorful, traditional Mughlai Biryani recipe with simple, easy-to-follow instructions and enriches mouthwatering, authentic degi taste and aroma! You sure try this heavenly dish.
INGREDIENTS :
Beef – 700 gm
Rice Sella (Soaked) – 700 gm
(To Boil the Rice) :
Water – 4 × of rice
Salt – 2 & ½ tsp
Green cardamom – 3-4
Long pepper – 3-4
(To Cook Meat) :
Refined oil – half a cup
Onion – 1 (big size)
Ginger garlic paste – 2 & ½ tsp
Salt – 2 tsp
Water – 3 glass
(For Degi Masala Powder) :
Green cardamom – 3-4
Black cardamom – 3
Long pepper – 8-10
Black Pepper Corn – 1 tsp
Nutmeg (jaifal) – 1
Mace flower (Javitri) – 1
Cinnamon Stick – 2
Star Anise (Badiyan Ka Phool) – 1
(Spices mixed in yogurt)
Yogurt – 200 gm
Red chilli powder – ½ tsp
Pinch of Food color
Kewra – 1 tsp
Degi masala powder (we made) – 1 tsp
Green chillies – 4-5
Yakhni water (water used to boil rice) – 1 Cup
Chilli pickle
Degi masala ( sprinkle 1/2 a tsp on rice)
COOKING STEPS :
1. Boiling the Rice (upto 90%)
2. Fry Onion
3. Cook Meat
4. Prepare Degi Biryani Masala
5. Spices to be added (mixed in yogurt)
6. Add spices mixed in yogurt in now almost cooked meat
7. Add green chillies
8. Add now boiled rice (yakhni water, chilli pickle & some degi masala over)
