What’s special about Special Fried Rice? Nothing. Make it at home.

Ingredients:

80G BBQ Pork
50G Roast Chicken
12 Shrimps
2x Eggs
300G Fresh hot rice (please don’t use day old rice)
Salt to taste
1 tsp YumYum
1 tsp white pepper
1 tsp soy sauce
1/2 cup frozen veggies
2x Green Onions

Instruction:
1. Cut BBQ Pork, shrimp and Chicken into small 1cm pieces and stir fry with 1 tbs of Oil.

2. Push meats aside crack 2 eggs into the wok.

3. Add fresh rice and fry till fragrant. Why? Because cold rice cools down the wok and you lose wok hei. Trust me. Your grandma is wrong, day old rice ain’t it.

4. Add white part of spring onion and fry for another 30secs

5. Add the frozen veggies (optional. I hate peas)

6. Add all the seasoning and serve with green onions on top.

7. Easy as ABC. Better than KFC. Eat too much can’t join the UFC. Call me the RiceGod.

  5. Yea nah fresh rice will never be the same as cold rice for the same reason you dont blanche chips then fry them.
