Hello! I bought this fish from a market in jeju, I believe it’s semi-dried? Would love to get advice on what’s the best way to cook it and how long can it last before spoiling! Also anyone knows what’s the species of this fish?

I guess it’s 참돔( cham-dom, Red Snapper ?? ) / 2% sure
Actually raw fish is the best way, but just make it jjim or grilled

Domi. grill(fry) it until it is crispy(yellow), then enjoy with rice and banchan.

My family is from Jeju. If it’s the only partially dried and salted, we make a spicy bokkeum style dish with it.

Typically you see semi dried fish done in a jorim style. You can look up fish jorim.
You can also grill it, which makes for a nice drinking snack.

The most common way? Just put some spices on it, like salt pepper and anything you like, and bake it, or fry it.
